The Campus Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating the operation and program administration on the Hendersonville campus.

Essential Job Duties:
- Perform administrative office duties in support of the Campus Director and the general Hendersonville campus, including but not limited to typing, data entry, answering the telephone, scheduling meetings, and greeting guests to the Center.
- Other administrative tasks include:
- Order office supplies for the Center (and academic departments, as needed).
- Manage the mailroom to include ordering and updating postage.
- Create student, faculty, and staff IDs and distribute parking passes.
- Submit invoices for payment.
- Organize and execute special events including room configuration and coordinating room set-up/tear-down with White & Associates (building services vendor).
- Arrange catering orders, secure refreshments, and assist with set up for campus events including Information Sessions, University Showcases, Advisory Board meetings, and other special events.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of janitorial and campus supplies.
- Coordinate with White and Associates for building maintenance and cleaning, and schedule building attendants as needed.
- Oversee and manage service providers to ensure compliance with regulatory items such as fire, elevator, etc.
- Manage external organizations’ use and rental of campus facilities.
- Control access and monitor activity within the building.
- Manage classroom and meeting space on the Hendersonville campus by entering all classes and events into Event Manager. Class schedules and event requests will be provided by program coordinators and directors from all UUH departments.
- Serve as the receptionist and initial point of contact on the Hendersonville campus when people enter the building.
- Assist students and academic departments as needed.
- Assist in compiling recruiting and distributing information/marketing packets as appropriate.
- Assist in recruiting prospective students in all programs by serving as the initial point of contact on the Hendersonville campus and participating in off-campus and on-campus recruiting events as needed.
- Assist with the promotion of the Hendersonville campus.
- Represent the Hendersonville campus at special events.
- Create and manage UUH social media posts.
- Design and maintain campus bulletin boards in the Academic Commons.
- Write and publish monthly internal UUH newsletter.
- Serve as the intermediary/point of contact between the IT Department in Jackson and the Hendersonville campus.
- Conduct other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree and three years of clerical and administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree and candidates with demonstrated organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
